Sri Lanka Basketball Federation is planning to conduct the National Selection Trials for the below mentioned International Tournaments, scheduled in 2020.SLBF will strictly adhere to the Ministry of Sports and the FIBA guidelines for resumption of Sports activities during the COVID 19 Pandemic. Therefore interested players should fill the below given Google form showing your commitment to participate for the 3x3 National Selection Trials.
1. FIBA 3x3 World Cup - Under 18 (Women) - Born between 2002 January 01st to 2004 December 31st
2. FIBA 3x3 World Cup - Under 23 (Men) - Born between 1997 January 01st to 2004 December 31st
3. FIBA 3x3 Asian Beach Games (Men) - Born between 1997January 01st to 2004 December 31st

Sri Lanka Basketball Federation is pleased to inform that we are ready to begin Basketball following the lock down of Sri Lanka amidst the COVID 19 Pandemic. Please read the following attached documents carefully and strictly follow the guidelines given.
1.Ministry of Sports -Guidelines for resumption of Sports activities in Post COIVD19. 2. RETURN TO BASKETBALL - FIBA COVID-19 RESTART GUIDELINES FOR NATIONAL FEDERATIONS.
3. SLBF Check List for Return to Basketball
Please note the following,
Form a restart monitoring committee (Chaired by a ExCo Member (President/Secretary/VP ) comprising Senior Coach, Medical Doctor, Referees/Tech Officials, Women’s Co ordinators etc.)
Undertake a full risk and assessment , implementation and co ordination with MOH and the Local health authorities etc. Liaise with the local government and local public health authorities for the green light for restart.
Implement the plan but also to have an immediate exit strategy if directed by SLBF or local public health authorities
# The areas mentioned in the check list needs to be checked and sign off before the start of the training. This check list compiled on the guidance given by Ministry of Sports and FIBA .
Also, pls note that before commencement of any training it is required to do a self-screening of all participants. Therefore, they may follow the below link (also in SLBF Facebook and SL Basketball web site) so that every participant is required to fill this and get self-screening done.
